A general purpose caring/accessibility grant for those attending conferences sponsored or supported by the UK’s Royal Astronomical Society is now available.  These include a number of international meetings relevant to geophysicists, for example the British Seismology Meeting, Near Surface Geophysics Group, and Geofutures. Anyone attending such a conference or event is welcome to apply for up to £250 to defray additional costs of meeting attendance, for example those associated with childcare, accessible transportation, etc. More information and application guidelines can be found at RAS Carers Grant
